Talking on the Phone

Free Initial Chat

Choosing your therapist is one of the most important steps in starting counselling - the fit really matters, and you’ll usually know when it feels right. To make that easier, I offer a free initial chat before you start counselling. It’s simply a chance for us to talk on the phone, get to know each other, explore what’s been going on for you, and answer any questions. Many people say it felt surprisingly natural and relaxed, and that it took the pressure off - making it much easier to begin counselling because we’d already connected.

Sometimes, taking that first step is all it takes to kickstart meaningful change.
